Coaching
Want to work with players and become a Coach?
We are always looking to support and develop professional coaches, we have mentorship scheme that you can apply for, however if you are a coach already and just want to get involved, please contact Rachel at – rachel@atorrosports.com. All our coaches are paid and are working towards either their next coaching qualification or their own personal goals.
Umpiring
Do you offer umpire training?
We run regular umpire in house training courses at our club with one of our qualified umpires. This can be from age 13 upwards and we advertise these regularly – keep an eye out for dates on our website and on Facebook and Instagram.
Volunteering
Can I be a parent volunteer?
We welcome parent volunteers – in netball for example, many become team managers of their childs’ team or assist other parents (checking where teams need to be/which court and what time; making sure bibs are given out, making sure they all have water bottles etc). Parents are a valuable asset to the club and play an important part assisting coaches by helping at tournaments and are a great help at fundraising events at the club too.
Duke of Edinburgh/ Work Experience
We also do our best to support young people doing their ‘Duke of Edinburgh’ or looking for some work experience, by offering them the ability to work alongside us, learning key skills and enabling them to gain confidence and achieve the goals they have set themselves.
