FAQ's - Skill level & What to wear
Skill Level

What skill level do I need to be to join your tennis and/or netball clubs?

In both tennis and netball, we encourage all levels, it’s great for us to see players going from strength to strength, from beginner right through to advanced, learning different skills and putting these in to practice when playing.  Some of our junior sessions are grouped by ability, but most are done by school year and our coaches are fantastic at delivering high quality training, tweaked to suit a variety of abilities within a group. In netball, we have enough coaches so that our bigger groups can be separated into different smaller groups, so that they can get the most out of each of the skills being taught and we are always keeping our eye out for players that demonstrate key skills and that we feel would be of the right standard to play in our league teams and the coach would then encourage them to trial.  Please see FAQ section Trials / League Teams / England Netball for more information on this.  In tennis we are able to move players up a group if we feel that their ability would be better suited in the next age group.  So whichever sport you choose, you can be rest assured that the coach will ensure you are in the correct group for your age/ability.
